I work with you to understand the nature of your condition and what challenges you may be experiencing in terms of engaging in your chosen occupations (self-care, vocational &/or leisure). Together we can then plan how to either improve motor, sensory, cognitive or psychological challenges, or put together a strategy that will reduce their impact by compensating. We can work on learning new skills or re-establishing old habits, and ultimately work towards gaining maximum independence and a new normal.

An Occupational Therapist aims to enable you to participate in the activities of everyday life, and help you recover from a neurological injury. I will achieve this by working with you on physical, sensory, psychological, or cognitive issues you may be experiencing and work through ways to overcome these potentials problems, so you can live a fulfilling and independent life.
