Girl struggling with work

Neurodiversity

Working with adults with various conditions under the 'Neurodiverse Umbrella', including dyslexia, dyspraxia, ASD, ADHD, is an exciting new area for me. What qualifies me to support individuals this area is both professional and personal. My lived experience, having ADHD myself, and an Autistic husband, has helped me realise the cross over between how I work with individuals with neurological conditions and some of the challenges of living in a world set up for the 'Neurotypical' brain when you are neurodiverse. Helping others to navigate the cognitive, social, emotional and sensory challenges that may occur, is something I am passionate about.

Navigating life as an adult can be a challenging and difficult time. Everyone needs support and being neurodivergent is no different. What can help us all is reassessing how we look at the world and the challenges we come across, and finding ways that work for us to tackle these. Looking at ways we communicate with those around us can also help encourage a great support network.
